A 110-person Hungarian manufacturer was processing 1,200+ supplier invoices a month. Three accounts-payable staff spent most of their time matching invoices to purchase orders and goods receipts, chasing missing references, and entering data into the ERP.
We built a document-processing pipeline that extracts data from invoice PDFs (any format, any language), matches against POs and GRs automatically, flags exceptions, and posts clean entries into the ERP. About 75% of invoices now process without human touch. The three AP staff handle the exceptions and stopped doing data entry. The CFO reassigned one of them to financial analysis.
